Established in 1980, the Northside Homemakers Service Society provides personal care, light housekeeping/laundry, respite and meals to the residents of the town of Sydney Mines, the town of North Sydney and the surrounding areas.

The Northside Homemakers Service Society is a non-profit agency supported by the Department of Seniors and Long-term Care. Offices are located at 9 Eveleigh Dr, Suite #2, Sydney Mines, NS, B1V 0B3, with 7 office staff and over 70 dedicated Support staff including Continuing Care Assistants (CCA) and Home Support Aides (HSA).
